Premier liga: Četvrta pobjeda Chelsea

Nogometaši evropskog prvaka Chelsea zadržali su vodstvo na tabeli engleske Premier lige i nakon 5. kola, zahvaljujući teškoj 1:0 pobjedi na svom Stamford Bridgeu protiv Stoke Cityja.

Gol vrijedan tri boda postigao je Ashley Cole u 85. minuti.

Chelsea sada ima 13 bodova, tri više od prvih pratitelja Evertona i West Bromwich Albiona te četiri od Fulhama i Manchester Uniteda, s tim da “crveni vragovi” imaju utakmicu manje.

Nikica Jelavić zbog povrede koljena nije učestvovao u 3:0 pobjedi Evertona na gostovanju kod Swansea Cityja, dok je Mladen Petrić odgledao sa klupe za rezerve 2:1 pobjedu Fulhama na gostovanju kod Wigan Athletica.
